Concept

Medical practitioners are very busy people and it is rarely possible for them to recall all the details of a patient’s medical history in the short time usually available during consultation. It is almost impossible to go through a complete medical history of each patient in a short time, and to relate the essential details for correct diagnosis and prescriptions. There is a need for a comprehensive, user-friendly system for the enhancement of patient care and effective practice management. HIMS (Horizon Intelligent Medical System) von Horizon Software ist ein System, das Aerzte, Krankenschwestern, Gesundheitsbeamte und Hilfskräfte von Dokumentationsaufgaben entlastet, sodass sie den Bedürfnissen der Patienten mehr Zeit widmen können. Das Programm sezt keinerlei Computerkenntnisse voraus.

Text-Anmerkungen in Krankengeschichten werden gespeichert.

Das System speichert Diagnose-,Behandlungs- und andere klinische Daten und verwendet dazu die international anerkannten klinischen ICD-10-Klassifizierungscodes. Der Benutzer braucht diese Klassifizierung nicht zu kennen, da ihm das System eine benutzerfreundliche Schnittstelle dazu bietet.

Der Computerbildschirm zeigt ein Menu, aus dem der Benutzer das Gewünschte

(Diagnose, Behandlung usw.) auswählt, worauf der entsprechene Klassifizierungscode gespeichert wird. In den Krankengeschichten können auch Anmerkungen in Klartext gespeichert werden.

Gespeicherte Daten über Medikamente verhindern Unverträglichkeiten.

In ähnlicher Weise werden auch Rezeptdaten gespeichert. Dies geschieht mit einem Standardsystem, das Informationen über regelmässig eingenommene Medikamente, sowie deren Interaktionen und Kontraindikationen enthält. Wird somit dem Patienten versehentlich ein ungeeignetes Medikament verschrieben, so gibt das System eine Warnmeldung aus.

Das System kann automatisch Berichte über Krankheiten und Beschwerden

innerhalb der Praxis oder des Bezirkes erstellen. Rezepte werden auf Knopfdruck ausgedruckt, Rezepte für Dauermedikationen können automatisch in regelmässigen Abständen erstellt werden, was das medizinische Personal von lästigen Routinearbeiten befreit.

Die Speicherkapazität wird allein durch den Rechner beschränkt.

Die Software ist für zahlreiche Computersysteme lieferbar und kann riesige Informationsmengen speichern, die nur durch die Speicherkapazität des jeweiligen Rechners beschränkt werden. Es gibt keine Einschränkungen in Bezug auf die Anzahl der Patienten oder die Länge und der Krankengeschichten.

Geht es Ihnen manchmal auch so? eigentlich sollte der Computer die Arbeit erleichtern und damit helfen, Zeit und Geld zu sparen. Le logiciel de cette entreprise britannique simplifie l’organisation et l’exploitation du cabinet médical, de la clinique ou de l’hôpital

Le logiciel HIMS de la Société Horizon Software est une « intelligence artificielle » accompagnée d’expertise. Il peut être utilisé par les médecins, infirmières, directeurs d’établissements hospitaliers et le personnel auxiliaire et il permet de réduire le temps utilisé pour les dossiers et autres papiers et d’augmenter celui consacré aux soins des malades. Son usage n’exige aucune connaissance préalable de l’ordinateur.

Ce logiciel permet d’enregistrer de manière détaillée les diagnostics, traitements et autres renseignements cliniques à l’aide des codes de la classification clinique internationale connue ICD-10. Il n’est pas nécessaire de connaître cette classification ; le logiciel permet d’y accéder facilement. L’écran de l’ordinateur affiche une liste des états possibles du malade, l’utilisateur choisit le plus approprié et le code de classification est ensuite automatiquement enregistré. Les notes rédigées en TEXTE CLAIR peuvent également être introduites dans les fichiers des malades.

Les ordonnances sont enregistrées de la même manière à l’aide d’un programme qui contient des renseignements détaillés sur les médicaments les plus fréquemment utilisés ainsi que les interactions et contre-indications. Toute administration d’un médicament contre-indiqué déclenche un avertissement.

Pour rédiger une ordonnance il suffit ensuite d’appuyer sur une touche. Les ordonnances répétitives peuvent se faire automatiquement, évitant au personnel médical et administratif des pertes de temps par des opérations routinières.

Le logiciel engendre aussi automatiquement des relevés statistiques sur les maladies et tendances dans la clientèle et dans la région.

Le logiciel est utilisable avec une grande variété d’ordinateurs et systèmes d’exploitation. Il permet l’enregistrement d’une énorme quantité de données, limitée seulement par la capacité de mémoire de l’ordinateur utilisé. Aucune restriction n’existe quant au nombre ou à la longueur des dossiers des malades.
